Hello! How have you been doing? Well, I hope. Today I want to talk about the camera market place and what I have been thinking of upgrading my camera too. As an avid photographer, I stay updated on new cameras or lenses and news about them and their release.

Right now, the marketplace has many options. Recently, a lot of new cameras along with lenses have been coming to the marketplace, for example, the release of new mirrorless Sony Compact series cameras and the G master lens about two months ago, the release of the Canon R8 or the announcement of the flagship Fujifilm GFX 100 II. For me, I have personally been thinking of upgrading to a Sony camera. Especially since the release of the new Sony series has been made to contribute to the Compact series, which I am a huge fan of since I do like portability, simplicity and I do travel a bit. The new releases are the Sony Alpha 7CII and the 7CR. The C stands for "compact". The 7CR is a higher level, costlier camera in comparison to the 7CII and offers a better sensor amongst other things. I have checked out the 7CII and read about it, and honestly it appeals more to me.
For me, a perfect beginner kit would consist of a tripod, along with the Sony 7CII and a simple lens like the Sony 55-210 mm adjustable E mount. This is actually what I'm thinking of getting, if its possible or if I don't change my mind. I am open to trying other options like Canon, Nikon or Fuji, but I would ideally like to try out a Sony. For me, I would take the mirrorless technology over DSLR as well. The mirrorless 7CII comes packed with a 33 megapixel sensor, 4k shooting capability, an ISO range of 100 - 51200, and the recently introduced AI technology processing unit which provides for better autofocus and eye autofocus for humans as well as animals, insects and more. Sounds pretty good to me.
